Hi all!

I was wondering what amt og light i should habe on a nano. I know I need 3+ for Ground cover, but i was wondering if id have algae on my plants if i have 5wpg. I have gotten mixed replys, and honestly i dunno what is right. One source said it is shallow, so less light, while the other says you can have all u want! Please help!

Dont get too excessive with the light, plants can only use as much light as there is co2 and nutrients.

stick with arround 3 wpg and if it is a nano tank just put the light farther away from the light, or oyu could just put it in a window... it also depends on your service routine to the tank...
