Currently in tank
2 Amazon Swords
1 Red Rubbin (Echinodorus rubin)
2 Wistiria (Hygrophila difformis)
6 anarchis (Egeria densa)
3 Mirco sword (Lilaeopsis novea-zealandiae
3 Bacopa caroliniana
4 Corkscrew Val (Vallisneria torta)

I can't seem to come up with a few good mid-ground plants that I like. I am looking for something that will be around 6" to 8" tall.

I have good light 2 to 4 watts a gallon. 46 gallon tank tank. No CO2 yet.

Crypts would make a nice mid ground and a nice contrast. They have longer grassy ones, or shorter reddish ones for the mid.

One of the dwarf lillies would also look nice. I have a cute pinkish variety in my tank.

Crypt Wendtii red is what I have as my midground plants in my planted 55g. The leaves on a couple of them are around 7 inches long. They have a deep red color and are very pretty.

There's a couple of websites where you can do a search for plants by height (or other parameters):

http://www.tropica.com/default.asp (click on "Advanced Search" at top right corner)

http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide_cat.php?category=5

Hope they help
