Shrimp and Golden Wonder (A. lineatus) Compatibilities! | |
edwardorino Fingerling Posts: 17 Kudos: 8 Votes: 1 Registered: 07-Jun-2006 | I have a 10 gallon that is moderately planted with 3 watts per gallon. I set up a Hagen C02 system recently, but I still have some algae to deal with. My tank currently has: 1 male betta m/f pair of Golden Wonder Killies 3 panda corys 2 Chinese Hillstream Loaches (aka Borneo Suckers) I know I'm overstocked, so no more fish. When I get a bigger tank in the next year, the killies will move to a bigger home. Right now they are all doing well, except the male killi is trying to sex up the female killi all the time. The Betta and male Killi hang out a bunch! I want to deal with the algae, and I don't want to use chemicals. Will Cherry Shrimp work in this tank? How many? Will the Killies or Betta eat them? I'd like to get Amano Shrimp, but they aren't available. Thanks! -Eddy |
