I'm looking for suggestions for a green crypt to compliment the Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Tropica' I already have.

I'd like it to be fully green & preferably with the same hammered look to the leaf as my red crypt. So more or less the same plant, but with green leaves. If not hammered, then at least the same shape/structure of leaf.

This is a recent picture of the crypt in my tank.

I've been thinking of crypt wendtii green, but I've never seen this crypt & for the moment, can't find it. Well, I've found "Crypt wendtii tall" & "Crypt wendtii broad" but their names suggest their leaf structure mightn't match in with the Tropica's leaf structure.

Anyone know if the standard crypt wendtii green has the hammered look to the leaf?

Anyone know where I can buy some? Thanks in advance.

Cheers

The green one has the same leaves as the one you have (I'm not familiar with "tall" and "broad leaf", but the other colors of wendtii have the same leaves - brown, green, bronze, etc). I don't know where you can get them in Oz.

It sure does I have about 20 plus in the 45lt tank I am trying to make them a solid backing and sides of the tank.

Contact Dave at
http://www.aquagreen.com.au/
I have got several crypts from him but not the wendtii
dont go by his listings as he does not put every thing on that list, especially if he only has a few or waiting for them to grow on. His quality and service is excellent

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Thanks all

I've sent an email to Dave @ aquagreen. I've bought from him before & he is a good guy to deal with.

Cheers
