 | Too Many Snails ?????? |
razz    Enthusiast Posts: 189 Votes: 1 Registered: 23-Aug-2003   | I have a 75gal reef with around 15 large Astrea and Turbo snails. About a month ago they seemed to all get together and have an orgy in my tank and now I have baby snails all over ther place. Some are just specks and some are getting bigger now. Ranges between (1mm-5mm)in size. I did my bet guess last night and figure there are around 140 new snails. My question is, how many is too much for my tank? I could probably trade a bunch in for a store credit at my LFS. And how long should I wait? |

Some will get big quicker than others and sell them at about the 1 inch in diameter mark. Any smaller and the LFS will probably think you are giving them a hard time more than some nice snails. |
