Hi Jason,
My Buenos Aires Tetras spawn regularly in my community
tank, so I dont think it is very hard to spawn them.
I have noticed however, they didnt spawn until I had more males than females. I have 1 female and 4 males, and it
seems that a dominant female needs several suitors.
Soft water, nice and warm, and then a water change a couple of degrees cooler at night usually brings on a morning spawning around dawn.
Pretty easy. They aggressively eat their eggs as they are falling though, so probably a tank with marbles on the bottom would work best.
Good luck!

Thanks alot for your reply, So_Very_Sneaky.

Today i've caught them from my main Tank & put all 5 of them in a smaller tank, with a plastic net at the bottom, so the eggs will fall there & they wouldn't eat them.

I think that unfortuantly, i have 3 females & 2 males, but i will give them a try & see what happens. The females are quite large & i think that they are full of eggs. I will leave them there for a few days & than make a cooler water change, like you suggested.

Thanks alot once again & if anyone has more ideas or personal experiences, please post them here.
