Yep, but that would be a lot of activity and traffic!

Actually it depends on how big the tank is though...

I don't you will have any problems with them. Good choices, they should look great together!

Compatiblity your fine, but don't add them all at once. Gradually add them over a month or so.

Yes, that's what I would do, but even within schools I wouldn't buy 10 neons for example, I would buy 5 and then add some more maybe a week later.

Also if you are just starting this tank off, Neons are not the best fish to do it with. They would be better off after the tank cycles. I think the other tetras on your list are harder.

Yeah. Add half of one school, then the other half a week later. Just keep doing that, and you'll be finished in a few weeks.

As for hardiness, here's how I think they rank up:
1. Lemons
2. Flames
3. Neons

There isn't a huge difference between the three, but lemons are some of the hardiest tetras around in my experience. I cycled my fish tank with lemons and didn't lose a one.

As everybody said, just be patient & add them gradually, 5 at a time & leave a week between adding fish.

You could cycle with zebra danios or white cloud mountain fish as well.

zebra danios or white clouds would be a better idea...of course feeder fish are great too but you're running the risk of introducing disease into the tank before it's even up and running...if you still decide to go with feeder fish make sure you get them from a reliable source that keeps them in good living conditions(which most shops don't)

Alternatively, go with fishless cycling for 4 weeks, then start adding the Lemons, then add the others piecemeal over a 12 week period. Yes, sounds like a long wait, but patience is a virtue in the fishkeeping world!

Here's how I fishless cycled the Panda breeding aquarium. I set it up, with all the technology running, then added a small quantity of flake food twice a day as if I were feeding a small collection of Pandas already in it. That way, you build the filter up gradually. At the end of 4 weeks of this, the aquarium should be ready to take your first Lemons no trouble. Do NOT whatever you do dump a large amount of matter in to rot and just leave it! Think of it this way: which would make your house more habitable, dumping a dead buffalo carcass in the living room, or putting 6 rashers of bacon in your freezer once a day for you to have for breakfast? Works the same with the filter. Small amounts spaced evenly does the job. And, when you start stocking, you'll find your fish appreciate being fed small amounts more frequently in preference to being given one huge meal per day - several small feedings corresponds more closely to the kind of browsing they'd adopt in the wild.

And now, it's shameless plug time once more - Lemon Tetra Article

That was a very informative article! Okay, so my plan would be to cycle 4 weeks and then add 5 lemon tetras after cycling and slowly build up my stock waiting one week between stocking schools.
