I bought these fish today and they were called x-ray tetras. But they do not look like the picture of the fish on this site, which says they are also called pristellas. Please help?!

Those are albino Glowlight Tetras. Their care is the same as the regular variety.

Those arent pristella tetras...those are albino Glowlight
tetras!

Ive seen some albino flame tetras that look a lot like that too when about half grown. The dorsal fin looks identical. Could be glowlights though.
