My old ones took 3 days to stop hiding and stuff, every fish is diff though.

but mine r not hiding...there r there takin the show, competing for space in the tank....ive only encountered one time that a mickey mouse platy hides from the back...but these neons are right there.

How big of a tank is it?
How many fish do you have?
what other types of fish do you have?

some neons feel alot more secure then others n come right out front n swim around not caring about whats on the outside of the tank

as mentioned above tank mates water conditions temp n numbers aslo play a role in how active neons r

there great lil fish

Neons will also hide if you dont have a group big enough.

my 5 neons are fine now...but i lost 2 of them (heart attack!?!) they compete for food and chase my leopard danios from time to time.

4 leopard danios
5 pandas
2 dwarf gouramis

in a planted, 20g tank
