	diamond tetras
castlequest Fish Addict Posts: 661 Votes: 0 Registered: 15-Feb-2003	I saw some diamond tetras in the lfs near me. I was wondering if they could be kept in a 10g and if so how many? If not are they too nippy to be kept with angels? thanks!

Tetra Fan Mega Fish Posts: 1203 Kudos: 1081 Votes: 63 Registered: 11-Apr-2004	Yeah diamond Tetras are a bit on the large side for tetras. A 29 gallon would be better suited for maybe 6 of them. May I suggest a school of 6 Cardinal Tetras for the 10 gallon?

Mine make full use of the space they have in a 30 gallon tank, in a 29 they just wouldnt have the ammount of swimming room they need.
