Trick question . They first spent 10 bucks each which will total $30.But the store owner retotals it to 25 which means they would have to pay $8.34 each which is a rough estimate. So the shop keeper gives them a dollar back each and keeps 2 dollars. So that means each pay 9 dollars to total 27 dollars. You have to subtract the 2 dollars off to total 25 dollars which was the cost of what they bought at the store. So $25 dollars was the cost + $2 which the store owner kept which is 9 bucks each for the 3 men and thats why you cant add the 2 dollars onto the 27 dollar total. So to add up all the money..... $25 dollar total + $3 bucks back + 2 bucks the store owner kept = $30. You can subtract it too . $30 original total - $3 back - $2 = $25 :%) Its a bit confusing... and even I get a bit confused trying to think it all out. Keep the brain teasers coming

Yep... there is a rather large colony of "Jackass Penguins" living in South Africa... Near Capetown I believe...

as far as I know there is a colony of pinguins in South Africa.

OK so there are 3 guys who walk into a shop and spend $30 so they all put in $10 each. So they leave. After they have left the store owner re-thinks the total cost and works out that the correct cost should have been $25.

So that means there they were over charged $5. So the store owner runs after the 3 guys and gives them back $1 each and keeps $2. SO therefore they all only paid $9.

But each guys pay $9 each so that is a total of $27 plus the $2 the store owner keeps which gives us $29. But they originally paid $30.

Where is the other dollar???????

Yes

a) they have zoos
b) they own a part of the Antarctic(as do other nations as well)

Here's a classic...

A father and son are driving to a baseball game. On the way, they get into a terrible car accident. The father dies instantly in the crash, and the boy is rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
