	Chat Room Dead
Perky Mega Fish Posts: 1064 Kudos: 1036 Votes: 162 Registered: 24-Nov-2003	Why is the chat room always empty It used to be bulging and everytime you ame on this site there would be people in there but lately I have only been in there twice in around the 2 weeks I been back and there has been somebody there to chat with. Whats happening like?!

longhairedgit Fish Guru Lord of the Beasts Posts: 2502 Kudos: 1778 Votes: 29 Registered: 21-Aug-2005	Perhaps folks are doing more reading than posting, but I think its a shame some of the individual species forums and stuff got simplified, the old feel was a bit friendlier , now folks have to wade through general freshwater, and I can see how it may not be to everyones taste. I actually like the way it works better than before, but so many sites are getting more graphic and photo intensive on the presentation, whereas this site actually looks a little more subdued. Its tasteful, but it doesnt grab the eye.Sometimes you have to "sell" an idea a little bit.

It looked more warm n comforting lol! Oh well, it's still the same old Fish profiles and it still the best site around Lets make it feel as good as before come on pople

I still get replies to my posts, and people are helpful as usual, just miss the chat quite a bit

Babel has only 2 days access now, and Tryst is MIA, and Clowny has the new job, and I'm up to my eyeballs trying to get the house working and this business going and generally floundering I miss it a lot. Babelfish Administrator Small Fry with Ketchup Posts: 6833 Kudos: 8324 Votes: 1570 Registered: 17-Apr-2003	Yup sorry all but evil coworker E pulled our internet plug, it's about all I can do to get on and check on my forums and email on a mostly daily basis...I'm still there weekends regular times, but otherwise not much chance of access.... although master adamses did manage to find a public connection at my house, I cant seem to access it with my card and the other one at the local cafe is rather week for me as well...maybe I just need a new card . ^_^

Use a second window to browse the forums or do other things. People watch, and will enter when others are in there. Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes.
