Yeah, the inside of the car I drive is a mess. :%) Not really my car, though, so maybe that's not a good thing.

Can't recall a single piece of trash I've thrown on the ground. I also recycle anything that can possibly be recycled (at school I save all my bottles in my backpack so that I can recycle them at home).

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Composting was a big thing for me growing up, and living in the country there was plenty of places for things to compost without bothering anyone so peach pits and apple cores sometimes got tossed out into the woods.

Now I don't eat in the car, even drinking coffee is done carefully :%)..like Cory Addict I recycle everything I can...take paper and containers home from the office, and rip the paper tags off of tea bags ....is it bad that I mail the plastic window from envelopes that cant be recycled back to the credit card companies .

I just don't understand why people would do it Is it a city thing Even along the street I've seen people do it.

I think there needs to be another answer. I don't go about using Mother Nature as my personal garbage can, but hey, if she's going to throw my napkins about, I'm not going running after them. Walk, yes, but if it entails excessive running, tough tiddley winks.

I do admit to tossing random food scraps out, especially anything that say, birds or squirrels would enjoy... breads, etc.

Small scraps of paper sometimes happen to find their way out of my hands , but I certainly don't go around tossing a bag of Mickey D's wrappers out of my car window. That's just disgusting and lazy. I've got a small garbage bag in my car for that sort of thing.

Hair is natural... plus I'm sure somewhere out there, there's birds and squirrels with pieces of curly blond hair decorating their nest.

I HATE IT.

If you saw the inside of my truck you'd know I never litter.

Though when out hunting or hiking, apple cores and the like get tossed into the brush.

Funny this thread should appear today. My wife was driving home from registering Sean for school. He threw a soda bottle out the window. She coasted to a stop, taking her time, it took her a full block. She pulled over and told him to run back and pick it up. He wasn't a happy camper.

Blatant littering makes my blood boil. I'll throw apple cores or banana peels into my garden (not public places, as rotting fruit isn't very attractive). I'm an okay recycler, but not perfect.

Bablefish - apparently those envelopes with plastic windows can still be recycled? That's what the Brisbane City Council site says anyway - maybe the process is different in other cities/countries.

I don't litter, but like kitten says if a napkin gets pulled from the truck i'm not slamming on the breaks to go get itAnd if it's a piece of food yes I will chunk it out if an animal will eat itotherwise hair is my biggest issue]:|I should be looking nore like bensaf and ingo at this point

Otherwise I was having a fit the otherday at some fool chunking trash out the window while driving down the highway]:|here if you get caught littering it's as much as a $500 fine

I don't intentionally litter, but I'm not the type of person that goes around picking up trash because I'm paranoid that the world will end if I don't

If there's a trash can, trash goes in it... if there's not a trash can, I'll usually carry it until I find one.

Even if all the trash does make it to a landfill, it still has to sit and rot there... throwing it away just makes the place we have to see cleaner, it doesn't make the world cleaner as a whole tho
