I don't get to see many movies, but here's my list of stupid:

Event Horizon
No Escape
Pocahontas
Point of No Return (didn't see it, but didn't need to)

That's about it, besides some that have already been listed.

i would have to say the pact was the worst movie ever, it kept you waiting like somthing was going to happen, buuutt it never did, im still waiting for 3 hours of my life back

i would also have to say, any of the chucky movies,...i mean seriously come on....

All thats bad about modern cinema in one place. Seldom have such vacuous movies found such budget. Tacky, tacky, tasteless,cash-in movies. GAAAAAAAAAHHH!

"Event Horizon" I had happily forgoten that load of tripe. It's one thing for low budget sci-fi to be bad, but it's unforgiveable when a movie has so much potential and turns out so bad. Sort of like "Sphere". What was Dustin Hoffman thinking when he signed on for that turkey?
I've got the Sci-Fi channel on and I just saw Ron "Hellboy" Perlman get eaten by a poorly done CGI rat in, you guessed it, "Rats". It's also a shame that Sci-Fi can afford to keep cranking out these turkeys, but couldn't afford to keep "Farscape" on for its proposed 5 year arc. And then they cancelled "Firefly"! That's it, I'm cancelling my cable subscription ]

Starship troopers was brilliant. But then I suppose you have to appreaciate a certian type of humor in that ...and to have read Enders Game .

Alexander would be about the only one I can think of that was compleatly horrid. It gets the stupidity award for having the possiblilty of being good and failing miserably.

Oh, if you're looking for bad movies, so bad that they are funny, try anything from the 1950s B-movie era.

Gems such as:

Plan 9 From Outer Space (universally accredited as the worst movie ever)
Wild Women Of Wongo
Attack Of The 50ft Woman
Buranga The Tree Monster
ANY of the original Godzilla movies, but the best from this standpoint being Godzilla Versus The Smog Monster
Teenagers From Outer Space (this one is seriously bad)
Faster, Pussycat, Kill, Kill! (truly warped)

Then of course, some later ones worthy of note are Alligator and Q, The Winged Serpent.

However, these were all turkeys that were made on fairly low budgets. If you want movies that shed feathers and go "gobble, gobble" all over the living room but had no right to do so because of the vast amounts of wonga splurged upon them, look no further than Kevin Costner's Waterworld and that piece of asteroid hokum with Bruce Willis. Oh, throw in Hudson Hawk for good measure. Most movies featuring Tom Cruise not flying an F-14 are also turkeys.

i must admit that starship troopers was good, i mean i loved it but it was a corny as hell.

id have to agree with the tom cruise comment, jerry maguire was on the mabie list.

awww Husdon Hawk is one of my most favorite movies!!!
