Just bought a house, AND proposed to Robyn That and work are pretty much sappin' up my time. Once we get in the new abode, I should be able to get back here more often. Miss you guys

.5 carat total weight ( or so they say, looks larger ) white gold.

Stole the house for 120, they had it originally on for 164. Bwahaha suckers. New roof, insulation and siding, with an oversized 2 car garage ( where I'll be most of the time ) 1.7 acres!! Gotta mow it all tho

Go ahead, ask questions!!

Tim

Congratulations to both of you well done. The home looks like you will have plenty of work to do especially outside.

That's a lot of area to mow

Congrats, Tim and Robyn!

I'm taking bets on who thinks you will wear shorts to your wedding.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Formal shorts! oh dear, please wear formal shorts!

House looks fantastic! And just think, you could probably justify a ride-on mower for that much land Is it fenced? could you get a sheep or two?

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett

Where's the Camaro?

Congrats to both of you on the house and the engagement

It doesn't look like it has a fence around it. But it'd probably be cheaper to get a fence and a goat or sheep instead of a riding lawnmower (and gas for it... ugh)

Get on MSN sometime, ph00l... I've been wondering where you've been

It is a Saab and Subaru.. good job ScOOt! The Camaro was not there that day... we don't close on the house until next week, at which time, it will take residence in the garage for the winter. (after a complete shining and warm jacket of course)

Thank you all for the warm wishes, it's exciting and gut-wrenching at the same time !

Super, yea, I'm keeping my hair shorter nowadays with the job and whatnot, kinda kinda look semi half professional and all now, even though I don't see a lot of public One day it'll get back to where it was

I'd LOVE to wear shorts to the wedding! It's entirely possible too, since it may not be a big formal thing with lots of people around. It's most likely going to consist more of a few friends at dinner with my neighbor who's a pastor and then a big bbq afterwards on our new side yard OOO and if it's in the fall, we have a HUGE apple tree in the yard next to that shed thingy in the back that produces a TON of awesome apples! Best ones i've tasted in quite a long time. We're going to be on apple overload if the deer don't get them all. It does kind of worry me that it's very large, and they have a relatively short lifespan so I don't want it to quit, that'd suck.

Ha, no sheep or goats here. It's almost perfectly flat and un-fenced. The brush line you see is what we are going to own to, and there is no formal fence in it's midst. There is kind of a far too old falling apart rock wall to one of the neighbors, but that's it. Oh don't worry about me looking at riding mowers, it's been on my mind since we started looking! I can't waaaiiittt to mow that! I'm sure the novelty will wear off after 4 hours have passed and i'm still out there, but it's a risk i'm willing to take

mOOndaWg? Have you lost it? lol the one on the left is a Superjew legacy, and the on on the right is a Slaab Q3 or something, tis the realtors whip. The Z was home that day. Let me tell you tho, it looks great on the horseshoe driveway OOO and now I can crank up my amp without ticking off the neighbors!!

*phew* I'm sad and happy at the same time... this apartment is awesome and our neighbors are the best neighbors anyone could ask for, i'm going to miss them

Now i get to go on the hunt for some wood, we have a wood furnace to supplement the oil burner, save on some for the winter.
