(yes I realize that would simply be a veggie pizza...but they use the different sauce ). I didn't know if it was a conventional hotdog (bun and frankfurt) with chilli sauce added OR if it had chilli (meat combo) on it. Seems like an each way bet for when you can't decide which you want so you get both! Thanks for clearing it up. [It was mentioned as someone's weakness food in the Dr Phil weightloss challenge and I wanted it cleared up once and for good. First of all, they're called cheese coneys (coneys for short), thank you. Secondly, this is the order you assemble them, from the bun up. Bun, hot dog, mustard, onion, chili, shredded cheddar cheese. Not a thin layer of cheese, a heaping mound. The chili must, absolutely MUST, be Cincinnati style. Most people order them in quantities of 3. That's the basic cheese coney and IMO the only way to order them. Other people will get them without mustard and/or onion, cheeseless, and the REALLY crazy ones get "foney coneys"... no dog A 3 way is (again from the bottom up) spaghetti noodles, chili, a heaping mound of cheese. A 4 way is that plus onions or beans, a 5 way is a 3 way plus onions AND beans. What makes Cincinnati chili so unique? It's not a huge secret... cinnamon and cocoa. Sonds rank right? It's gooooooooooooood! Posts: 2623 Kudos: 2462 Votes: 337 Registered: 29-Mar-2003	yes let's see breaking it down, you have a bed more of bun in a "U" shape; smear with favorite condiments (mustard, ketchup, mayo, relish, etc) put frankfurter, hotdog, leftover meat at end of day packed into a type of tube like sausage....boil, bake, fry, grill, whatever it put into the buns "U" dip take chili, made with more meat, sometimes beans, spices, tomatoes, kind of soupy/stewy? cover so it is sloppy Bury chili, dog, and bread with grated cheese, preferrably cheddar.... onions, and other stuff is optional... heidi houston attached this image: "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom."
