try and get your hands on a copy of power quest partition magic. That should do the trick.

or even norton ghost.

Use Norton Ghost.... or depending on what manufactures hard drive you bought, it should come with software and instructions on how to do this. its pretty easy if you follow the instructions (givin that it did come with it).

i do this all the time, doesnt take that long and is always nice for a larger harddrive

Yes, Its better if you do a fresh install of windows then reinstall all your programs. I've found this works much better than imaging. If you need help...I wouldnt mind coming over and helping you out Im used to this

yea as mangor34 said, it is better to do a fresh install.. but that factors on if you have everything you need to replace what needed software you need and if you feel comfortable doing it.

I'd personally put in the new hard drive as master (be sure to move the jumper on the other one to slave), reinstall winxp on the new drive, and copy all of the junk from yer 20gb drive onto the new drive (by "junk" I mean stuff like pictures and text... basically all of the stuff other than programs, games, windows folders, etc...). Then format yer old hard drive (you should be able to right click on the drive in "my computer" from the newly installed copy of windows, and click "format"... you might have to do it thru msdos or something tho). Reinstall all of yer programs and games and stuff onto the new install of winxp, and you should be good to go with 2 hard drives

Have fun
