I'm going to make it my personal mission to take the most touristy photos possible in each place I visit and post them on here. Stay tuned! Been reading column 8 in the sydney morning herald... do not try and take a nail file or nails scissors onto the plane. Don't ask. Hope you can catch some zzzzz on the loooong flight. Hear from you in a month or so. ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |

It's getting harder and harder to sit through each day at work - just want to be gone already! Ah well, only five more working days left. I'm not a good sleeper - have trouble enough sleeping in a normal bed, let alone a plane. So it may be a lot of movie-watching and book-reading for me (while my boyfriend, who could sleep through a bombing, drools on my shoulder ) but hey, those things are fun too. Then I'll have to try and stay awake for a whole day in L.A (will be 8.30am when we land, while our bodies think it's 1.30am!). Will have to hit a coffee shop every hour I think! Although I am pretty sure they are allowed now. At least screw drivers are . Theresa...reminds me of the pic I shot in london "this is not a photo opportunity" ....I just had to shoot that . ^_^ |

Janna Mega Fish Posts: 1386 Registered: 24-Aug-2003 | This is me in London.... unfortunately my mother isn't the best at taking pictures that are in focus . You can see the London Bridge behind me a bit though. They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver, So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces. |

just beginning Moderator Literature Nerd Posts: 1879 Kudos: 1380 Votes: 198 Registered: 17-Dec-2000 | *thread resurrection!* Well, I wasn't too good about getting my touristy pix - nothing in front of the Hollywood sign or anything. But here are a few that might qualify anyway: Me in Nassau, Bahamas Statue of Liberty in background Epcot, Disneyworld Waiting for a bus to Magic Kingdom (and wearing a Las Vegas shirt - now that's touristy!) All my pics (well, those I've uploaded) here, if anyone's interested. The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. - Oscar Wilde |
