Would this look good?

I was thinking of getting Black anglefish, a Red Tail Black shark, clown loaches, and a BGK.

I have found that everything is compatiable, ecept for the clown loaches, and RTBS. I have known for a while that the RTBS will attack anything that has a similar shape (Like a rainbow shark, and clown loaches) But is there a possibility that they wolnt attack the clown's? Or has anyone kepy these two togerther?

All of the fish, are black, or at least dark, so would they look good in black gravel, or would it just be like you dont see the fish because of cameflague?

Thanks

I don't know, but I expect that the black gravel would make the fish a lot harder to see. What size tank will you put the fish in? Tank size can have a lot to do with fish compatibility, and your loaches and shark will certainly outgrow a smaller tank.

I wouldn't do black gravel with any dark colored fish... but I would love to have black gravel and about 8 albino cories... thinking about that for my next tank, course then I'd have to catch the cories in my heavily planted 55g. Anyhow, I think that darker colored fish look great against the natural gravel, the dark tones are really shown off in contrast to the pale gravel. HTH,

Beth

i think it could work, but i'd want either a very very shiny black or a 'natural' black (not coated)

I have natural black in my tank, and i used to occasionally 'lose' my kuhlis, they blended right in

you need very good lighting to pull this off i think.

if i were you, i'd go with *black and another colour* fish, like maybe CLs, kuhlis, tiger barbs, koi angels, you get the idea?

What were you thinking decor and background-wise?

It'll be very hard to see. At work, the black algae sharks blend right into the black gravel. Someone I know has black sand, with black background, and his black calvus are almost invisible.

I have black gravel and a black background in my 29 and the RTBS shows up fine. I don't think she would look as magnificent if I had used other colors.
