DIY Background? | |
Jaric Fingerling Posts: 21 Kudos: 15 Votes: 0 Registered: 21-Sep-2005 | Hey gang got a question hopefully someone can answer it. I have seen these really nice faux rock backgrounds that attach to the back of the tank. They look great but unfortunatly are a little bit expensive. My question, is it possible to make one of these backgrounds myself? If so what materials should I use to keep from killing everything in my tank? Not sure if this is even possible but it would be great if it is. |

Mostly used material is styrofoam that has been painted. I do not have any links to these sites, but I feel if you do a search you should be able to find them. Just be sure to use the correct paint and such for them. As for their expense, it is cheaper, but the time consuming part is the catch. It may be well worth the money to just buy one pre-made. There is always a bigger fish... |
