Fieldstone OK? | |
Pippin Hobbyist Posts: 78 Kudos: 63 Votes: 1 Registered: 11-Feb-2004 | I'm planning a 15 gallon and I really want to have some natural looking stones. My mum has a ton of fieldstone that she bought from a hardware store that has been laying outside all winter. It looks perfect for my tank, its only a inch or so thick. I scraped at the surface of a small piece and poured vinegar over it. There was no reaction. So is there anything else that might be wrong with it? If fieldstone is OK then all I have to do is rinse, scrub, and put some boiling water on it right? |
