Help! All my fake plants are dying! | |
angie6999 Hobbyist Posts: 125 Kudos: 57 Votes: 0 Registered: 06-Dec-2003 | Well, I got your attention. Anyone know how to clean brown algae off of silk plants? I'm scared to try bleach, figured it would turn them all white. Any suggestions? |

But if you want to bleach them, use a 10 part water to 1 part bleach solution. 10- 1 wont leach out the color of the plants, just rince really well and dechlorinate really well,. then rince again in dechlored water before putting them back in. |

As said, bleach will work, but I've not found any plants so far that I wasn't able to just rub brown algae off of in between my fingers... PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread. |
