hey guys,

i've just been really inspired by a few tanks that have been aqua scaped, they look fantastic.

i have a 55g tank thats cycling for my discus to be moved and i want to have a go at aqua scaping this tank for them.

does anyone have any ideas what i should do? i already have 2 peices of driftwood in there existing tank i can use, and brown gravel, the light in the new tank is a power-glo

heres a few pics of the new tank

stuquarium,

First off, do you plan to add plants to the tank? If so, what kind?

Now my opinions to your aquascape. Well, there is none yet .

The one thing that struck me right away is your background. What is that? A foil of some sort? I would place a background on the tank that is either dark blue or even black, if it is not too late to do so.

Is it possible for you to place the driftwood into this tank and take a photo of it so we can get a better idea of how fitting it would be?

Hope this helps,

Ingo

WOW, thats blank!

I'm a fan of Broad leafed plants, like swords and java fern. Anywhere around where you could get an archetectural piece of branch? that always looks spiffy

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett
