I actually really like the rock . It's not stand out and grab you by the collar obvious but it provides for a break in the plants. As you increase the plants you may decide that you need something larger as a feature, as this one may get overrun by the plants quite easily...but for now I say leave it!!!.

As for CO2, with that sized tank you'd be fine with a DIY mix. Increasing the lights can be harder to do DIY especially with tanks larger than 20 gallons. Saving up for a new hood and light fixture might be your best option.

Okay so as we all know I'm not the best artist, especially when it comes to drawing with a mouse using free image editing software that really doesn't let you do much of anything

But here we go, an attempt @illustrating the above. Hygro should grow to the surface in the center or just off center, rock should be moved forward. Darker mid tank height plants on the sides, dark leaved crypts for the substrate.

Well to answer a few questions... Babel... what do u recomennd for increasing lighting and gettign C02. For more ligting I would have to get a whole new canopy . Hmm this gives me some thought.... As for C02 what do you recommend?

GFG... The tank has been set up for a year now.. The camera is 5.1 megapixels and I did get the glare of the flash on some of the pics.. u just havta look closer . And yes its an angelfish... possibly a hybrid (one of those koi angelfish but i am not 100% sure). And i didnt know it may have been a hybrid at the time.

And what do you think of the decor? I really dont like those rocks much .

I think its beautiful! I love your angel fish (I hope its an angel fish?!?).

some Qs

how long has the tank been set up?
how many pixels is your camera? and how come you didn't get the flash showing up on the glass!?

I am very jealous as usual.

Nice start !
I'd work with the hygro being a nice mound in the center where it is...Then when you're @the lfs get some of the tallest java ferns they have....do a few in the corners and some crypts for the foreground.
The javas should be shorter than the hygro so that it forms a mound with dark on the outside of the mound brighter green in the center.
The crypts will fill in the front...if and when you increase the light and add CO2 all those plants will respond. Java fern responds quite well to 2wpg and co2 .
