I'm wondering what those thick "trunks" are & what type of statues can you put in a tank, e.g. porcelain? Is there a way to make any statuette safe? |

Falstaf Fish Addict Posts: 785 Kudos: 1211 Votes: 196 Registered: 12-Feb-2004 | Oliver Knott always uses natural materials on his tanks, those are bamboo stems, maybe painted and glazed for that green look, you can use soapstone, clay or terracotta, glazed porcelain, jade, any crystal (such as rock crystal, obsidian, lapizlazuli (*sp), quartz etc.) statues. in fact you can use any thing you want, just double check that it's safe and if you are not sure, coat it with an epoxy resin and let it totally cure, after that it will be safe. |
