estes' = freshwater? | |

If you want regular light colored sand, just use regular pool sand or playground sand. Just make sure to clean it like crazy first. If you want something darker that may help darken up your apistos color, there's tahitian moon sand (which I like very much ) It's up to you, but stay away from any sand made of aragonite or crushed coral - this will raise the PH and KH of your water to high levels, which isn't a good thing for soft water apistos. |
