where to find good stacking rocks? | |

Also check around to the larger DIY stores like home depot (I'm pretty sure you have those in canda :%)). You can also collect them yourself from places that you know for sure arent polluted. They're easier to sanitize than wood. Not all rocks are good for your tank however. Once you find a rock you like, be sure to test it by scratching the surface and pouring a small ammount of vinegar on it. If it bubbles that means it will raise the ph of the tank. Yep I think I got all my rocks local too. My yard or friends contributed them from a local (known to be clean) stream. ^_^ |

You may have to drive a little ways to get to one, but you can drive right to the rock mountain and pick your own.... |
