What a way to start the weekend... I woke up to find one of my favorite cories on its side, belly to the front glass.

No marks on the body to indicate anything wrong... he looked perfectly fine except for the being dead part.

Izzy joined the motley cory crew back in May. He was an ambiacus, and joined my very FIRST lonely cory rescue, Daddy... though they looked quite different at first, it turned out they were the same species and Daddy was lonely no more.

He's lonely again.

The only thing I could see from my look at Izzy's body was that I couldn't see the state of his barbels. Do they get plastered to their faces? I checked everyone else's barbels in the tank and they look fine, but I couldn't see Izzy's.

This is such a depressing start to the weekend. :#(

It's always sad to lose any of our little fishies, let's hope this doesn't continue into the 20:#(
