you cant have more than 5.

they get 4" each, and they are pretty big fish. They dont create much bio-load, but that is still 20" of fish not including the rams.

IMOthe loaches are too active (and are all, may I add, bottom dwelling), and therefore need more than an inch per gallon. A twenty long is a bit cramped for that many loaches. I'd stay at five, but four would be more optimal.

Do you have a full grown YoYo loach? They are pretty big, and really active.

I have 11 full grown yoyo loaches. I don't think yoyos should be kept in groups of less then 6 because they are far more social with company. A properly cared for 20gL will be fine for supporting 6 with 2 rams.
