Well I took a trip to Chicago this weekend and came back home with 2 beautys. The first is a 6" Synodontis Angelicus(yellow spots). It is darn near show quality. The 2nd fish is the elusive Synodontis Granulosus(4". Ive been lurking in the shadows for a while, waiting for the right "deal" for 1 of these cats. I got it. And for doing this without my wife, to my supprise, she loves them both. I just can't cry when she buys $90 jeans anymore. I'm gonna try to get some pics up today as they are both stunning fish. The Granny is already schoaling with my Cuckoos. The Angelicus lays with my Ornate Bichir. Only been 48hrs ,but all is well in the catfish town. To anybody who has never kept Synos, I highly recommend these catfish. Many types/sizes and most are very cool cats:88).

Nice, but that Granulosus must've cost you a bundle. Last I heard they hung around $350-$400 each!

PICS. NOW. A full grown white seam syno costs around 500 bucks here. They sell for less on aquabid.

I second Noodles. Pics, pics! Especially that mega-expensive granulosus ... I echo Shini's "wow" over that one ...

What a deal! Not able to see the fish too good in your posts, so looking forward to some updated ones in the near future.

Well folks I got 1 more decent shot of the Granny, but not great. I'm gonna use mysis shrimp tonight and maybe I can get some better shots. That Angelicus is unreal. BTW you folks need to move to the Chicago area, by that I mean Granulosus do not sell for over $300 around here. But then again I've never seen a 6" specimen before. And to the post to the Aussie's, I could have grabbed a Adontis Plec at the same place I got the Synos, for $35. But that L-204 is 1 of the coolest Plecs I have ever seen. Seems like the rules Down Under are not so cool. Everybody have a good day and I WILL get better pics for your enjoyment soon. Just use the link above post, and you can see them and more. BTW check out my "cartoon" Bichir, it was a bad shot so I did sumptin different.

LoL, man, the Aussies KNOW that the prices suck for them. It's because plecs are illegal to import into their country.

Granulosus aren't sold around here at all, so I suppose moving to somewhere they are sold in the first place might be cool.:%)
