Hey there fishprofilians

I sold my adult bristlenoses last weekend and bought some peppermint bristlenoses.

The funny thing is, the new bristlenoses went straight for the previous bristlenoses hiding spots. They are very small and yet one even dug out a lair in the same spot that my previous male used to live.

Do you think this is coinsidence or do you think these places 'smelled' like home?

Hey it must be some good hiding holes...maybe the previous guys left these guys a note, good hiding holes are at A, B, C, annd D? I don't know but it sounds about right, I know we need to get the 2 BNs some hiding places soon, just for us to feel good about itas well as themThey won't know what to do, bare bottom tank for 2-3 months and nothing to hide in...they will be delighted

Now when are we gonna get pics of your new guys? hml

I cannot answer you, but Pleco's like hiding places & maybe they went to the only hiding place you have.

No I have plenty of spots for them to hide. I guess the spots they chose are appealing to bristlenoses in general.

Probably what appeals to one pleco, would appeal to anyother pleco. You old ones just found the best spots first.
