I bought a couple pandas a few days ago for my tank. They are really cool and school around together. My trouble is feeding them last night i droped in 2 pellets and it looked like they sorta nibble some so i took it out this morning i put a little frozen bloodworms and it it seems like they ate those. Is there any pellets and vegtable or something that would make them eat. I got them lets see um 3days ago today. and i did a good accimation for about 30+minutes.Have any ideas? thanks fish1.

Are there other fish in the tank? If so, your pandas may be eating leftovers that have fallen to the bottom.

I feed mine in the morning, algae or vegetable wafers, occasionally shrimp pellets. They don't seem to eat a big meal but nibble over the course of the day.

I find that my pandas will eat all the bloodworms and flakes my gourami and tetras wont eat. Plus I drop in 2 Hikari sinking wafers for the 6 of them. It takes them a little while to eat them, but eventually it gets done. Your pandas are probably getting enough to eat, but keep an eye on them anyway to ensure they stay plump and healthy. Good Luck with them!

I dont think it matters too much, I've heard of both. *shrug* I would feed one wafer per 2-3 cories, but def. not twice a day. When I had a pleco, I put in an algae wafer a night, and the pandas would always nibble it until the BN got it...so they will eat algae foods.

nope, sorry. Can you be more specific? I'm going to the pet store in a little while, and I could check it out for you.

Feed your Pandas live food and watch them come alive!

Oh, and you might want to increase the numebrs, space allowing. Pandas like their own company. In decent sized groups.

I have 8 in my aquarium, and they're non stop fun. If the search facility worked on the board, a quick search on "Pandas" would yield about 200,000 words I've written on the subject

They should eat algae wafers. Break one in half and drop it in right before lights out...they will usually find it and most of it (except some tiny crumbs) will be gone by morning. at least thats what happens with my 3

Ah, of course. The 'just before lights out' trick works with all kinds of bottom feeders, not just Corydoras. It's a particularly good way of fattening up Otocinclus, which I also have sharing my Panda aquarium.

However, if you can obtain live food, Pandas will devour it with gusto. You want to see mine when the 'red spaghetti' (i.e., live bloodworm) hits the gravel!
