Hi all, I know this question has been asked and unfortunately I'm asking again. I have a 20 gallon LONG with 7 Panda Corys and 4 Bronze Corys. A friend of mine who happens to be a Cory breader told me to remove the Bronze Corys because I'm overstocked. The only other fish are 2 Ottos. The Corys appear to have lot's of swimming room. The tank has been running for over a year and the Pandas have been in the tank since the start. The tank is filtered with a double sponge filter, an AC200 and a Penguin Mini. It is planted and the plants have done great. In the year I've had the tank there have been no illnesses. So what do you all think, am I overstocked or am I okay?
Thank you

You are not overstocked, cories add very little to the bioload in your tank. In fact, I would add 2 more of the bronze cories, to give them a school.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Just leave them as they are, you have 11 Lovely Corydoras & you are not overstocked.

Actually, corys, like all catfish, produce a lot of waste for their size. They do not clean tanks, and a school of corys produces a lot more waste than an equally-sized (both in number and size) school of tetras.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.
