Do all loaches get along or do some species quarrel?
For my 90g tank I decided to leave the corys in the 25g with the livebearers, and am going to go with all loaches/botia for bottom feeders in my 90g.
I have a polka dot botia, a queen botia, and 2 weather loaches. I would like to up the number of my botia, and the 2 weather loaches will be getting another friend, my sisters weather loach. I would like to get another 5 queen botia, and if I can ever find more, more polka dot botia. I would also like to get some yoyos if that would be ok?
Perhaps a skunk botia as well.
Any suggestions on types of loaches and numbers? The tanks footprint is 5ft long by 18 inches wide by 20 inches tall.
Thanks all for helpin!

Well I will assume that all loaches/botia have similar temperments.

Pete, I'm not a major expert on loaches, but I gather that Botias tend to be relatively gregarious with each other, with the possibility of some species exhibiting a certain boisterousness. However, there's a site called www.loaches.com that might help!

I keep queens (hard to find around here too!), kuhlis, and black kuhlis together. They don't interact, but they're aren't any problems between them either. At one point I also had dwarf loaches in that same tank, again no problems.
