How old adn big do Panda corys have to be to breed? Mine are only 2cm and I only got them 3 days ago. 2 of them seem to always be swimming together and swimming up and down the sides of the glass following each other. Could they be preparing to breed? Or is this just normal behavior? One of them is not playing with them though and is a little less active.

Please reply if you now the answer of have a guess!

Thanks so much!

It sounds like normal panda cory behavior. They like to follow each other around, and chase each other around the tank. Pandas are very hyperactive fish, though you will be able to tell if they are actually spawning!

Pandas aren't normally sexually mature until they're around 9 months old. If yours are small juveniles, then they won't be ready to spawn yet, but they'll engage in a lot of hectic behaviour in the run up to spawning.

This will tell you all you need to know
