Well my brother said he saw, one cory guarding a plant root, and that my gouramiu was trying to get to something, could it be cory eggs ? I hope it is !!

Well, if the corys was guarding the plants like there were eggs there, it would only because he wanted to eat the eggs himself.

If they were breeding, you'd know it. When corys breed, they lay 30-150 eggs all over the glass. And even if the eggs had been eaten, you'd still be able to see the little marks on the glass where they were.

Corys are pretty funny, even with their spawning behavior. One time one of my female C. duplicareus went and laid an egg on the glass, and then immediately turned around and ate it.

This morning my Albino Corydoras where laying eggs everywhere & the Angels where eating the eggs like crazy. It's really a pitty, but i hope to breed them in their own very soon.
