I am lookin for some sort of bottom feeder that can life with my other fish (Green Spotted Puffer). I would prefer some form of invertabre (not sure thats spelled right) but the GSP likes to eat the ghost shrimp. Was considering a FreshWater Blue Lobster but he will get a bit big. Im getting a new 20G tank later this week and plan to create a very nice setup. Sand bottom, live plants, and hopefully some sort of crawfish to keep it all nice and clean. |

The cray will eat the puffer and die of tetraotoxin poisoning (are invertabrates affected by it?), or the cray will be an easy dinner for the GSP. Ideally, GSPs should be kept in 30+ gallons, as they reach 6" and are fairly active. Also, they are brackish water fish and are generally very aggressive. You won't be able to keep many bottom feeders with them, if any at all, in a tnak that size. I'd suggest you trade the bugger in for a figure 8 puffer, and keep them with bumblebee gobies and/or knight gobies. |
