Well actually i was curious, and looked into this fish. There are several species, i don't know what your looking at, but adults range from about 8-25cm. A recommended tank size would be from 100 to 250 L. I think that they will eat shrimp pellets. One unique thing i learned was that they actually burrow in the tank, they do not disturb plants though. They are also nocternal. You probably wont see the fish very much, but maybe you dont care.

I dont know much else.
But you can look at this site:

I have 2 banjos which are really easy to care for. They will get to 5-6'',are both very peaceful and reclusive, and will eat any food that reaches the bottom of the tank. I would put them in say a minimum of 20g, they are not normally active (most of the time they are the laziest fish I have ever seen) but occasionally they will shoot around the tank, therefore I feel a 10g is too small. Also note that they eat fry and small fish, but for some reason my checker barbs are untouched...
To put it simply you will hardly see your banjo, and you might not want to see too much of it unless you have a liking for ugly creatures

here is some more info
