The knifefish are predators, but they generally leave catfish alone due to their body armor and sharp spines. Keep the BGK well-fed and there shouldn't be any problems. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

Growth rates of BGKs seem to vary from one to another. Some can be very fast growing, from 10cms to 35cms in a year as is the case with my now largest BGK to around half of that. |
