We will get a bigger tank later on..around 100Liters. Any suggesstions of some cool looking bottom feeders? Anybody keep or know this one..Phenablennius heyligeri. |

Can't say that I've seen Phenablennius heyligeri before ...but it looks like a cool fish . From the photos I've seen of your tanks I'd say you were the expert in the catfish / bottom feeder area ...my 2c is to try some Dwarf Loaches ...they are great fun and don't hide much at all ..they stay small about 2 inches but they like company so 3 or 4 should be ok in a 15g. (as long as you get bigger aquarium later) when they get older they grow cool tentacle-like whiskers. they're also good for lots of aquriums. they get around 5 in so they go well in small tanks and really take care of algae. and they will work in most kinds of set ups. they do good in community tanks and are peaceful. but they're also tough anough to go with soem cichlids some times. (i keep mine with a 5 inch oscar. but they're a great fish and are really cool looking |
