So I have a pair of bronze cories that have been spawning for the past 24 hours and I keep finding little stashes of eggs and the mom carrying bunches around with her fins, but then the loaches and tetras come and get them. I have only found one batch behind the intake tube that the other fish haven't found yet. I also found some that were actually on the glass that I tried to seperate them to a tuberware container but accidently smushed most, I have 1 good egg in the container and I found a little razor i can use next time because it is sharper that a knife.
I want to know if I dhould remove them or if shouldn't because my pandas had a survivng baby in there on their own, probably throught the moss. If I do seperate the eggs should I do something with them to keep them from fungusing? I don't want to go out and buy a bunch of supplies for this since my tank is already stocked and if I had some more cories I would probably just give them to friends. Any input would be appreciated.

Use Methalyn(sp.) Blue to prevent fungus on the eggs. That's pretty cool they are spawning, I never got my cories to spawn. But good luck. I am not too sure of how the eggs will live in a separate container without flow, parents, or heat. May I suggest a Breeding net? I do not think Cories provide much parental care but good luck.

Put a drop or two of Methalyn Blue or Acriflavine & also place an airstone in the tuberware container, so that the water keeps circulating all the time. You can remove the eggs from the tank glass, by a credit card or something similar. The eggs will hatch in around 4 days. It's better to remove them, as the parents don't care much about them & the ther fish will eat them easily.

I don't know if it will work or not, as i always use Acriflavine as an Anti Fungal remedy.

You can get Acriflavine from a Pharmacy.
