er, I agree, posting in caps is rather distracting.

Would you be happening to be talking about a red tailed shark?

They are technically cyprnids, but some people do confuse them as catfish.

Could this be the fish that you want information on?

Or maybe the irridescent shark?

I know the guys have already mentioned not typing in caps, but uh let me clarify something ok? When typing in all caps on the internet it's considered yelling and we know you aren't meaning to do that. Just a useful tadbit of information to keep in mind when online Hope one of those sites above help you out, heidi

it depends on what u are looking for. i have an ID shark that starts out small, and very nice looking at a lfs and now it is over 1.5 feet, and very annoying, but i will always love him. the smallers sharks are the red tail black sharks. but i think thats it, only b/c the rest will grow very large. the apollo shark will grow large, the ID shark is way to big, balas will grow very large, high fin loach shark will grow large, the black shark will grow large. most sharks will get large, and not even look like SW skarks.

It's most likely an Ariid, and will require a brackish to fully marine tank as an adult, depending on the species. Most species in this family get upwards of a foot long and need a 120 gallon tank or larger.
