My little baby zebra loaches that I have are finally clicking. To tell you the truth, whenever everyone said that these guys would click sometimes, I thought they were crazy! But I put in a wafer yesterday and all three of them started clicking like crazy! I love these little guys! Just thought I would share my excitement

The clicking sound if from their tooth (yes, tooth) eating the pellet.

Kinda like you chatting your teeth togerther

As they get bigger, the clicking noise will be much louder (you can hear it with clown loaches 20' away)

I thought I heard my clowns make some noise, but I can hear it only when the lid is open. What does the clicking sound like?

it kind of sounds like it would if you tossed a piece of gravel at the glass when your tank was full of water

You gotta be joking. The clicking is that loud? At what size to they start clicking? Mine dont seem to click that loud, and they only seem to click when I feed them live worms.

I didn't know about the clicking when I bought my queens. Shortly after I was napping on the couch when it woke me up...I had no idea what the noise was

It really can get loud.
