Are there any cory with similar markings to habrosus? I know there aren't any other small ones that are similar. I bought 6 of what look like habrosus from walmart's mixed cory tank. They have a lot of odd fish in this week I also ended up getting a puffer that was in the molly tank and sold to me as a spotted molly fry.

Sham I actually saw those here as well, I can't think of the name and as I've said before can't find my stupid aqualog book]:|

But from memory I'm thinking they get to 2-2.5 inches roughly...and do look quite a bit like habrosus...

Nick are you around? I can tell you the corries we are trying to find the name for are in the back 1/3 or 1/4 of the book, and were on the right hand page if I remember correctlynow if I can remember that why can't I remember the name?

Heidi

makes note to self either find the stupid book or buy another one, i'm tired of not having it:#(hml

Corydoras gracilis (http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/callicht/corydora/1069_f.php) looks quite similar to c. Habrosus, but they are about the same size as c. Habrosus I believe.

Sorry, my bad.
The one with similar markings to c. habrosus is c. cochui (http://www.corycats.com/corydoras_cochui_htm.htm), not c. gracilis (which is similar to c. pygmaeus). It's just that I've been looking at pictures of pygmaeus all day.

hmm... These guys have a lot more black and the stripe down the middle is almost solid. I know I've seen a picture of a larger cory that looks similar but I can't remember where. I looked through all of corydoras world and some of planetcatfish with no luck. Maybe I need a book Right now the biggest one is slightly smaller than my pandas and the others are around half that or smaller.
