I just got "6" Leopard Cories. For what I know is that I have 5 Leopard Cories. There is one wierd cory that obviosuly dosent belong. First a verbal description... It has three horizontal lines going the length of it and a "Mask" over its eyes. No picture possible, hes too fast! Thanks.

I am leaning toward Corydoras Agassizi, or Agassizi's cory.
Check out this pic. http://www.fishprofiles.com/profiles/gallery.aspx?id=636
The Bandit does not have the spotted flanks unless it is a hybrid of a Bandit and a Leopard. I am no expert on Corys though, but look at that photo and look at the photo of the Bandit.

The fish in that picture you linked to is Corydoras leucomelas, not Corydoras agassizi.

I trust you Natalie but do you think it is a "mutt"? Do you think the sale value is greater because I would like to get all Leopards, But it dosen't really matter.

From what I can see of the photo, it looks like a regular C. schwartzi and not a variant. In my area these sell for a little less than C. leopardus.

EDIT: By "mutt" did you mean hybrid? This fish doesn't look like it, and I'm not sure how willing the two species would be to interbreed.

Considering how C. schwartzi is just short of impossible to breed and don't fetch enough on th eopen market to be worth hormonal injection, I doubt it. It definitely appears to be C. schwartzi.

Btw, this: [href]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/636.htm[/href] is NOT C. leucomelas.

I never said that picture was Corydoras leucomelas. I said the picture that the picture that Kunzman96 was linking to (this one) was.

Oops! Sorry. I take it the (other pictures) thumbnails are not always accurate pics in the profiles. It had it listed as Agassazis. (Embarrassed)
