	Cory Sizes???

Alkyne Mega Fish Posts: 1053 Kudos: 2064 Votes: 23 Registered: 29-Apr-2003	It first depends on whether you have C. melini or C. metae as these are very similar fish - C. melini is the larger of the two. Second it depends on whether you are measuring Standard length (SL) or Total Length (TL). Standard length is from the tip of the snout to the the caudal peduncle, or the length of the fish without the tail fin. The total length includes the tail fin. The standard length of C. melini is about 2.4" max, and C. metae is 2".

T/A Mega Fish Posts: 942 Kudos: 1796 Registered: 20-Feb-2004	Do some searching on the 2 names Alkyne gave you. That way you can be sure which one you actually have. If you don't find out for sure, it's better to be safe and use the larger size.
