Cories of what species? Will there be any more fish? Will the tank be planted?

It will be hard to give you a straight answer without replies to each of these questions.

definately gotta know what kind you are looking at, and some more specs on the tank...honestly I would try for a larger tank

But keep in mind corries need to be kept in groups of at least 6 for them to be at their happiest heidi (proud owner of at least 40 corries:%))

You're looking at cories that will reach six to seven cm, so not a whole lot of them will fit. For breeding purposes, you could try three males and a female or four males with two females; I wouldn't go with more than six or seven fish total.

You cannot fit much in a 10 gal. tank. Maybe you can have 5 or 6 but you must keep the tank clean with weekly water changes.

True, Corys need good water parameters to breed. Make sure the tank you use is completey cycled before putting in the Corys. Another option , if you can fit a larger tank, is to use an AG 33 gal. I think they still make them. They have a lot of surface area- width and length, but are not deep- perfect if you just want to keep bottom dwellers.
