Could someone tell me if cories put their eggs on glass? I found some eggs on the glass tonight and I think it may have been my cories' eggs. I don't think it was any of my other fish. (I know zebra danios don't put them on the glass and my tetras are all female, so the only possibilities are the cories, yoyo loaches, or otos.)

Yes they do, as well as on plants. Some species are more e to lay their eggs just on plants, while others will lay them anywhere. What kind do you have?

I've got adult bronze cories (the ones I think are responsible for the eggs I found today) and two juvenile albino cories (I believe they are the same species, but I'm not 100% sure on that one as my LFS didn't know- the albinos were sent by mistake from their supplier)

Yes, the cories are more than likely the ones responsible then.

Thanks for the help everyone! I hope the eggs do survive- cories are my favorite fish. Bertha (the big cory female) seems to be quite proud of herself- and hungry. She ate like crazy at this morning's feeding. Normally she lets the boys have the shrimp pellets while she gets the crumbled algae wafers, but she pushed them out of the way today and ate them herself. She even decided she was taking over the "downstairs" of Ninja's place. (One of my Yoyo loaches took over my Gargoyle arch decoration as soon as he moved in. He lays between the wing and head and darts out to get food or defend his turf.) So far he's left her alone; probably because she's much more heavily built than he is.

Bronze Corys will lay a fair number of eggs, and a fair percentage of them on the glass.

Pandas, on the other hand, use Java Moss if they have it. And burrow into it like moles when laying
