hahahah well yeah i know that habrosus should be fine considering they live with much bigger species in the wild, and should have some innate sense of survival isntinct not to get eaten every single day hahahaha but i'm mostly paranoid abt them getting lost in what seems an ocean compared to their diminutive size, and plus getting sucked into the power filter isn't something i wanna be dreaming abt....

P: I added one Corydoras condiscupulus in there~! hahahha wow i thought it was an oiapaquensis (*dat how u spell it?*) but i originally planned on getting 2 for companionship but by the time i went home to do research, went back to lfs to purchase, only 1 was left...and it left a ginormous hole in my bank...it was like Singapore $30 which i think is abt US$60 for ONE...ONE FISH~!!!!! man i gotta get a new job....hahahahah]

but then again i guess i have it easy compared to pleco nuts who splurge on everysingle one they can get their hands on

Or better yet, a 300 gallon Rio Llanos biotope, with stargrass, anachris, hairgrass, and red temple containing only corydoras sp. black.

Heidi obviously had a similar idea to me during one of my daydreams.

My wackiest idea was a 12ft aquarium with 100 Pandas, 60 Habrosus, 60 Pygmaeus and something out of the ordinary for my neck of the woods such as 40 Concolors. That would be like an entire primary school full of hyperactive tots that have OD'd on Sunny D and M&Ms

Yes, but the good thing about corys is that you can have tons of them without having to clean out hundreds of little bowls every week.

Heidi is suffering from too much coca-cola in her system. A tank that huge with just cories? And I thought she wanted a salt water tank also. Hmm cories must be like bettas...can't have just one.

heck I fishnapped or is it corynapped pugs 3 albinos and then turned around and bought 4 more small albinosand here I thought my hasbrosus were busy:%)the silly albinos don't sleep:%)they are like the energizer bunny and just keep going, going, going, going, going, going...and here I await for them to get in this other breed that I just have to have

Nathan, can I get the number of your buddy or someone else know of someone here in the Houston area who can make a specialty tank 10'x4'x1.5'minimum, maybe a bit longer and wider it would be about 425 gallons, and i want to fill it with corries:%)

heidi and yes i am crazy

- 4x corydoras sterbai
- 8x corydoras trilineatus
- 2x corydoras melini
- 3x corydoras panda
- 2x aspidoras menezesi

hahahhah man you guys should see the HUGE amount of activity in the tank right now after i mixed all of them up~! hahhahaha *my sole entertainment for a week*~!

P: I've got 8 corydoras habrosus too, but they're in their own species tank, as i fear that they might get eaten or even lost if put in a community tank

I can't imagine the pygmies having problems in that tank unless the neons or guppies are abnormally gigantic.

try adding an air ston, one of the long ones...and if you think they act like fools now, wait till you see what happes

Some fish really, really like air stones :%) My platies used to line up and dive thru the bubbles, one at a time, over & over & over My kuhlis would play in it at night, which was great for me since I'm up for work at 3am ( ) so it gave me some good entertainment at a yucky time of the day/night

Hey that tank isn't as small as I was originally thinking! that is a 28 gallon tank! I do know the joys of having a bunch of corries in one tank I have 8 metaes, and 15 Hasbrosus in my 125. There are also 2 clown loaches (soon to be 4), and 6 Harlequin Rasboras. They all act like a pack of fools in that tank...hint of advice, try adding an air ston, one of the long ones...and if you think they act like fools now, wait till you see what happes....(Bonzai!!!!!!!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Can we do it again?!?!?! Come on can we, can we, can we, can we?!?!?!?!?! Yiiiippppeeeee!!!!!)

I know I added the Harlequins in the mixture and most are probably wondering if I'm crazy, but they truly think they are Hasbrosus, and school with them:%). And if you think that is nuts You should see Lucky the Betta, all too often I have found him surfing the waves with everyone else...

So, yes!!! My tank is insane...gotta get more hasbrosus heidi

hi guys...the tank's length is 2.5feet, width is 1ft and height is 1.5ft...its dimensions are kinda irregular, but considering my dad got them from a friend fer free, i'm in no place to complain~! hahahah, and plus, the amount of entertainmenti get outta it, no complains from me hahahahah

erm, nah for bottom-feeders, corys are hte onli ones that's gonna be in there...but coz the height of tank is 1.5ft, so i have 5 neon tetras and a coupla guppies to occupy the midldle-top layer of the tank, plus gives it additional colouring (ie: blue and red that all corys lack)

P: lol if u guys are gonna say my tank is over-stocked, the onli thing i can say is who the hell can resist a HUGE bunch of corys swimmin like nuts around their tank? hahahahhahahahah

Sounds great Same questions here: what size tank, are there any other fish?

I think keeping the habrosus out of that tank is a good idea. I have pygmaeus and they're considerably smaller than 'regular' sized cories. Are they in a tank by themselves or with other fish?

Pics would be great too!

Nice... I bet it gets crazy at feeding time. What size tank is it, and what else lives there? ...If it were an all-cory tank, that would be quite something.

Keep up the nice work collecting cories!
