I just set up my new 55g tank and am thinking about the fish I planned to put in. I wanted to get a school of corys. Im just concerned they wont be able to function in the sand I have in my tank. any help is welcomed thanks!

They'd love the sand! Cories have fun playing around in it.


They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Cories prefer Sand ....they will be digging all around in that sand....Good Luck

They will love the sand but it is definetly not neccesary just make sure you have some smaller rounded gravel.

what kind of sand? some sand can be very bad to corys.
